Bad News
Dollhouse has been cancelled. FOX is planning to air the rest of the season’s 13 episodes starting in December, and Joss is going to give the series a proper ending.
I take solace in the fact that Joss didn’t have time to kill off Topher and make Ballard gay.
Oh, who am I kidding? They haven’t yet filmed the last two episodes, so he still has plenty of time.

I’m so behind…I don’t even know what Dollhouse is.

He’s much more likely to make Echo and the doctor lesbian lovers or something. Maybe he’ll save it for the Dollhouse Season Three comic book.

I just got caught up with “Belongings” and now that I love Topher more than ever, I am sure he will be killed off.

Is Summer Glau becoming the new Ted McGinley?
Firefly, the 4400, Terminator: SCC, and now Dollhouse before she even appears on an episode.
BTW, the priests guy was on “The 4400″ and that was the address of the warehouse on “V.” and they got Inara and Wash on the show, plus Juliet from “Lost.”
Will they show someone wearing a brown coat next, or a Dharma Initiative logo? Keep your eyes peeled!

I enjoyed the first season. I think the shark was jumped by bringing Ballard into the dollhouse. Boyd has always shown far more interest in Echo’s wellbeing than Ballard. I can handle Ballard, as an FBI agent, trying to stop what generally bothers him about “the dollhouse” and specifically what he knows about one woman. I can’t handle Ballard throwing away his strong principles from season one to become a pimp in season two.
From this point, not only could I see Ballard becoming gay, but I can see Ballard deciding to get at DeWitt by threatening to kill Topher if he doesn’t set up Victor to be Ballard’s personal love slave. The whole Echo character will become a tertiary plot to the series.
