Quick Hits: The Week in TV (w/e 2/27/10)
Undercover Boss. I am totally in love with this show. And the CEO of 7-11. And his employees. Especially Igor. Every time Igor spoke, I cried. He kept going on and on about how wonderful America is, how it’s the best country in the world. I break down any time I hear foreigners who have immigrated here and appreciate what they have, who just LOVE America. And then the CEO gave him his own franchise! I bawled.
The Amazing Race. Well, look at those little wily cowboys. I may have to pick them as my faves again, now that Team Grandma is out. Oh, and when Granny got kicked in the head by a cow, I panicked.
LOST. LOL at Hurley. “And I just lied to a samurai.” Also, Jacob’s a tool.
24. They killed Sark! Booooo. Also, yay to Jack + Renee = potential future <3! And boo to the stupid hillbilly subplot. Though I’m really glad the hillbillies are dead.
Olympics. Glad it’s over. I can now go back to living elsewhere besides the couch. Also, GO USA! Record for most medals in a single winter Olympics! And: Frank and I are scheduled for a Learn To Curl class!

Undercover Boss: Completely agree about Igor. And foreigners appreciating America.
TAR: LOVE them Cowboys. Paul is annoyed that the Lesbians think they’re stupid just because they wear Cowboy hats. It’s very “I’m a Liberal, and I obviously know more than everyone else” of them. And I also freaked when Grandma got kicked in the head. It was very Grandma of her to bring the grandkid a piece of pie after all that.
LOST. Hurley rocks. And I’m thoroughly confused. Do I like Jacob and hate John Locke? Do I like John Locke and hate Jacob? TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO KNOW!!!!! Wait…wrong show.
24. They killed Sark? I think I missed that part. Maybe I shouldn’t have let Paul delete it. Whoops. Jack will never be happy. That would be un-Jack. And hooray the hillbillies are dead. Although I think FPJ is going to have words for Battlestar Galactica. Y’know, the whole, “oh no let me run to my dying scumbag ex-boyfriend” thing.
Olympics. I officially watched like, 4 ends of curling, 1 minute of hockey, and approximately 45 seconds of ice skating (before I fell asleep). But Go USA!

Oh. And, there’s apparently a place in CA where one can learn to curl as well. I want to try it just to figure out what the big challenge is.
